102 snakes seeking sanctuary slither into home near Regina

Sneaky Slithery Snakes

Tiny garter snakeOn October 21, 102 snakes slithered there way into a house hold just north of Regina. Megan Lawrence is the Director of Rehabilitation at the Salthaven West Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center says "We got a call from a family that found some garter snakes in their basement, and as they investigated further they found a lot more. And then they started finding them in other areas of the house, like kitchens and bedrooms. So they decided then it wasn't a good idea to have them there anymore."

If this was me I would be losing it. I hate all types of snakes especially when i don't know where they are. At home around the farm there are lots of wildlife, but when i see a snake i get scared. Last summer when I was working at the lumber yard I saw a Gardner snake. So I took my boot off and threw it at the snake, then i grabbed a  nice big 6x6 and squished his head. My mom was proud of me and payed me 20 bucks.

Ford Flakes gives mayor breakfast cereal treatment

Ford Flakes

Ford FlakesAn overzealous tiger, a silly rabbit and a polarizing big city mayor? Mayor Rob Ford is now a cereal mascot of the cereal call "Ford Flakes". Its a honey and granola blend that sells online for 40 a pop! This amazing breakfast cereal was created by two Toronto graduate students, that don't want their names released yet. The reason for the cereal being so expensive is not because of its tastes, it is to raise money for cancer research. The cereal is a remake of Airbus's Obama O's and its cereal counterpart Cap'n McCain's, according to one of the two unidentified creators.

I think this was a cool idea for these two guy to do this. At first i thought that 40 was way to much for a box of cereal, then i realized that they were sold for cancer research. If these guys were smart they would lower the price of these and put them in local stores.

The police need to find out why and how this happened soon. This happened to my dad once when he ran my dog over in his big diesel truck. It also happened to me when I also ran my sisters dog over on my dirt bike.

Another Death

Public health nurse Shirley Parkinson, 56, was killed by her husband, but the RCMP invoked the Privacy Act to withhold the nature of her death.last month a woman named Shirley Parkinson who was 53 years old was killed by her husband, police have still not got public with the full story. Shirley's husband Donald, who is 60 years old also killed himself on there farm on September 10. This is normally what is called a murder- suicide, RCMP are calling it a "sudden death". Donald and Shirley where parents of two kids.

I cant really relate to this story because my parents are alive and have not kiln each other yet. But if i was to relate I just think this is a sad story, and may God rest their souls.

Parents charged after 4-year-old boy found dead in North York

Killing

On Monday morning a four year old's parents where charged for falling to provide the necessaries of life, Toronto police had confirmed. Police had told CBC that investigation allegations that the boy had been forced to stand for long periods of time and weather or not this had an effect on his death or not. Paramedics where called to the house around 2:00 am on Monday, the little boy was pronounced dead at the crime scene.

It is not a surprise that this kid was pronounced dead at the scene in the conditions he was in. Living on finch ave. and Leslie st. is not the best conditions for anyone to live in, especially a young boy. May God rest his soul.

A four-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at this home in the Finch Avenue and Leslie Street area in the early morning hours Monday.

Toronto Maple Leafs Cut two of the best fights in the league

Cuts

The Toronto maple Leafs cut two of their though guys on Monday. Colten Orr and Frazier Mclaren are now off the roster for Wednesday nights home opener against the Montreal Canadians. The leafs lead the league in fighting majors in the last two years but have now moved on with their new approach with their new President Branden Shanahan. The leafs are going with their new approach with four scoring line to help lead the leafs to the playoffs.

Enforcers Frazer McLaren, right, and Colton Orr were waived by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.

I do not agree with any of this. The Toronto Maple Leafs need these players that play four minutes a game to fight to keep the team pumped and on edge. It is not fair to these athletes  to be cut off of their jobs because a new owner comes in and want to change everything. The league needs enforcers to stay exiting and to attract more viewers.

Maroon 5's 'Animals' video condemned by sex assault group

Animals

Maroon 5 new music video is being blown up by a sexual assault  support group for trivializing against woman crimes. The video was put out last week and has the main singer " Adam Levine" as an over obsessed butcher who stalks on younger women  ( lady played by his wife in real life). There is confusion with the fact that he stalks young women and there should none of this happening in music videos because it is a very serious problem in the world today.

I watch the video myself and I did not think of any of these things. I think the media always over react to these type of things. I dint understand why they cant just accept that its a music video and not really life.
